Band Scholarship Auditions

An audition process devoted exclusively to band students planning to major in academic fields other than music.

Drum Major

Thanks for your interest in audition for a Pride of Oklahoma scholarship! To audition you will need to do the following:

  1. Prepare a resume that details your musical and academic accomplishments
  2. Download the Scholarship Audition Packet (PDF format). Included is the scholarship audition form and two scholarship recommendation forms.
  3. Secure two recommendations (one from your band director, the other from another adult non-family member)
  4. Fill out and return the Band Scholarship Audition form, resume and letters of recommendation (your recommenders may send these separately if you wish) by April 20.
  5. Perform an audition on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

If you are unable to travel to Norman for to play your audition on this date, please contact Mr. Jeff Jahnke to make arrangements for an alternate date or call the band office at 405.325.2731.

NOTE: This audition is for scholarship consideration only. Auditions for membership in the Pride of Oklahoma will be held the week of August 18.
