Please note: The 2007 Pride of Oklahoma auditions have been slightly restructured. Changes are listed below in red.
All auditions for the Pride of Oklahoma are held the week prior to the beginning of the Fall semester. The audition process takes three days during which time each student has the opportunity to demonstrate their playing and marching skills in group and individual settings.
Auditionees will report on Monday of audition week. Specific audition dates are posted on our calendar each Spring for the following Fall. A specific schedule is included in your audition packet downloadable in the Members Only section of our website on July 1 each summer. If you have a class conflict with Pride, you can learn about how to resolve it here.
Freshmen have an equal opportunity to make the band as all former members must audition for membership each year. FYI: An average of 100 freshmen earn positions in the Pride of Oklahoma every year.
