Auditions for the concert band are for chair placement only. Audition material typically consists of 1 or 2 major scales, a full range chromatic scale, and excerpts from the Spring semester's literature. The auditions are recorded during the first week of classes and evaluated by the band staff. Results are then posted prior to the first rehearsal.
